The Magaliesberg Mountains are an ideal weekend retreat or romantic getaway. Due to the close proximity of Johannesburg’s International Airport, the Magaliesberg is also the perfect first night stopover en route to Sun City or Madikwe Game Reserve. The grand Sun City entertainment mecca offers unparalleled entertainment. With a huge variety of gambling and entertainment opportunities, two Gary Player-designed golf courses, horse and elephant back safaris, the water-park and Valley of the Waves – there’s something for everyone.

In the adjacent Pilanesberg Game Reserve there is a variety of luxury lodges and comfortable Parks Board accommodation. Clients can drive themselves around the park or choose a guided drive, walk or hot air balloon safari. The Pilanesberg offers the opportunity to see the ‘Big Five’ and prolific birdlife.

Another attraction of the North West Province is the Madikwe Game Reserve.
