The Reefs in the Bermuda Islands

The Reefs in the Bermuda Islands

This hotel is a luxury hotel in Bermuda which has been allocated a small area for them to operate very close to a beach, therefore making it rather unique. The Reefs Bermuda are often advertised in the pages of the local newspapers offering hint and tips on vacation activities, but also host a lot of arts and crafts functions.

The Reefs have unique rooms as all rooms have ocean views, facing west overlooking the pink beaches. Those seeking more privacy could make do with one of the several cottages that are away from the main section of the hotel which have outdoor hot tubs to further your relaxation. The club residences allow you to live separately, but at the same time enjoy the pampering of the resort amenities and service.

These types of accommodation have special features, like ocean views, central air-conditioning, private bathrooms, refrigerators, internet, coffee and tea, a safe to store your valuables and irons to make you look your best. Although I would imagine that these are on offer at all reputable resorts.

Other nice touches are the complimentary drink on arrival and the local daily newspaper.

The hotel has numerous dining options that range from an indoor restaurant at Grill 56n or Al Fresco at the Ocean Echo or the outside offering, Terrace and Coconuts beach bar restaurants which operate in the summer. Entertainment from local artists is also provided every evening.

Guest seeking more variety can take advantage of the hotel’s “Dine Around” program which you to sample other Bermuda restaurants at Cambridge Beaches or Pompano.

The hotel offers a fresh water infinity pool, hot tubs, complimentary snorkelling equipment, kayaks, all-weather tennis courts, pink beaches right in front of the resort, gym with Cybex equipment. Close amenities that can be arranged through the front reception are, golf, scuba diving, fishing, sailing, jet skiing, horse riding and glass bottom boat cruises to mention just a few.

If for some reason there is the urge to leave the resort, there are places where you can rent a scooter. And to top it all for families with young children there are babysitting services available on request from the front desk. What more could you want?
